INTERCESSION
MINISTRY
One of the most important weapons of any church is an effective ministry of intercession. DESATAR Ministry was birthed out from prayer and intercession continues to be our firm foundation. We believe prayer is a privilege and honor given to us; it is in the prayer closet that warriors are transformed, made strong, and victorious in the Lord.
The Intercession Ministry is comprised of anointed individuals who have dedicated and committed their lives to intercession. We have been appointed to this ministry and come together to maintain weekly prayer meetings and intercession for DESATAR Ministry and all its church plants. Through inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we come against all obstacles and strive to stand in the gap for the Lord’s purposes to come to fruition for our church, our community, our city, and our nation.
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.” Ephesians 6:12
We encourage every child of God to be involved in our weekly prayer meetings, to come in agreement, loose the bounds of those lost in captivity, and set the oppressed free for Christ.
